Who

Epitonium is run by Diederik, The Hague, the Netherlands. Contact: epitonium.flux@gmail.com. Our server is in the Netherlands.

When you play

The game sends anonymous events (page opened, run started, milestone reached, run ended, play again, share pressed) with a random code that exists only while your page is open, the tag from the link you came through, and whether your device has a touch screen and is held upright. No name, no IP address, no device details. We keep these 52 weeks to count plays and see which games work.

Server logs

Like every web server, ours records requests, including your IP address, for security and to fix problems. They are deleted after 14 days.

Likes

When you press Like, the server makes a code from your IP address, the game and a random value that is deleted at the end of the day, so each visitor counts once a day. Your IP address is not stored. Your browser remembers which games you liked.

In your browser

Games keep your best score and sound setting on your device. No cookies. Nothing is loaded from or sent to other websites.

E-mail list

If you sign up for new games, we store your e-mail address and the date, and write to you when a new game is out. We send these e-mails ourselves from a Gmail account, so Google handles them. We keep your address until you ask us to remove it: write to epitonium.flux@gmail.com or reply to any of our e-mails.

Why we may do this

Your consent for the e-mail list; our legitimate interest in running and measuring the site for the rest.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, at epitonium.flux@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

No ads, no trackers, and we never sell or share your data.
